David William GOW Born Aug. 7, 1859 in Scioto Co. Married Cornelia Evangeline WHITE. Died July 12,1938 in Lima Hospital. Last known address was North Pearl St. Spencerville. Pastored Baptist churches in Needmore, Neptune [Mercer Co.] and Delphos. [circuit preacher] Looking for addresses of any churches still remaining where he may have pastored. Want to write for church history information.

WENGLER family in Mercer Co., in 1860's. Michael and Maria (KRAMER) WENGLER and their children: John, Jacob, Mary, Caroline, and Benedictta. They latter settled in Manhattan, (NYC) NY.

I am searching for information on two people with the surname HAUSFELD.

1. Joseph HAUSFELD purchased land in Jackson Twp. Mercer County at the time (later Auglaize) in township 8S, Range 4E. He does not seem to be related to the main family I am researching Heinrich Clemens HAUSFELD. He does nom appear in the census data for that year, and I am unable to find his name on passenger lists.

2. Garret HAUSFELD appears on the census data for Mercer County for 1840. He does not appear after that time. I am unable to find his name on passenger lists, (perhaps would be listed at Gerhard).

I would appreciate any information or suggestions for either of these two persons.

I am looking for Jonathon KIGGINS born July 12, 1792, in Washington Co., PA, and died in Mercer Co., OH, who married Elizabeth BOYER (daughter of Lewis BOYER from Miami Co., OH) on Oct 21, 1813, in Miami Co., OH. She died in 1840 but don't know where. Is there anyone researching these names? Thanks.

I am researching the family of Milton BOWMAN and Eliza Ellen CRAWFORD m.1842 in Preble Co., OH. Both were born OH. He was the son of George BOWMAN and Mary Ann JONES m.1819 in Switzerland, IN. The marrige records gives Eliza's surname as CRAWFORD. On all family records HAWK is her surname. My Great-Aunt says Eliza was an Indian orphan raised by a Rev. CRAWFORD as his child. Milton and Eliza moved to Monroe Co., Iowa, where both are buried. Any information on these families is greatly needed. Thank you

I am researching the BAUGHER/BAUCHER/BOCHER/BOUCHER family of Mercer Co, OH in the 1800. Would like to find out more about Phillip BAUGHER and his wife Henrietta (Hettie) KUNTZ. Their daughter Catherine BAUGHER married Joseph STEEN, Catherine and Joseph were my great great grandparents. They were married in 1865 in Liberty Twp, Mercer Co. In 1873 Phillip sold some of his land to Joseph. Would like to find the rest of Catherines brothers and sisters, to my knowledge she had around nine siblings according to the 1850 census. Would like data and seek descendants of Guy MATHEWS, b. 1890 & Lena Mabel DEWITT, b. 1890 that lived in Greene & Clark Counties, OH. and came to live in the Auglaize/Allen County Area. Had sons: Bernard, Louis, Arthur & Guy MATHEWS, Jr. all deceased. According to SSDI, one Arthur MATHEWS died in Athens Co. 1994. The families were known to have lived in St. Marys & also Greenville, Darke Co. OH. Also seek Lewis C. Aldridge of Greene & Clinton Counties, OH. whose father, William C. ALDRIDGE m. 2. Mary D. HADSELL, 1879 in Allen Co. Lewis was widowed in 180 and had daughter, Inez Ellen ALDRIDGE.

I am looking for information on the currant condition of the cemetary on Durbin Erastus Road in Mercer Co. My gggdmother Margaret Lattourette DELLINGER and her child Lucinda are buried there. When I was there 1yr, ago it looked like the cemetary was ready to be dismantled or moved. Can anyone help me with Information about the future of this cemetary?
