Researching MONROE family of Shelby, Auglaize, Mercer, Miami, and Logan Counties in Ohio and Loudoun and Fairfax Counties in Virginia. Henson H. MONROE, who married Eliza CAMPBELL, is said to have been 1 of 3 MONROE brothers who married CAMPBELL sisters. Henson and wife and children came to Shelby County about 1833-4. His brothers, James and Henry and nephew Nimrod Harrison Campbell MONROE, are said to have come to this area also. Would like to correspond with anyone who has info on this family and their descendants to trade info. I am especially interested in finding who Henson's parents were to confirm his relationship to Pres. Monroe.

Am researching WAGNER from Coldwater, Mercer Co., OH, circa early 1900's. Understand that my grandfather, Will WAGNER, ran a saloon called Wagner's Place about 1905 in what is now Bettinger's Restaurant. I was told that there is a mural there that has my grandfather in it -- wearing a derby. Has anyone seen this? Could someone give me the address so I could write to them about getting a photo. I would be most appreciative for any information.
