My name is Mary Ann Hetrick; I am your New Monroe County Coordinator. I am the person who is responsible for providing you with the tools you will need to search for your roots in Monroe County.
I hope to be able to add more resources to the pages of Monroe County soon, so check back often. I don't live in Monroe County, I can't do lookups, but I will add what I have as time permits.

The Monroe County Ohio Bicentennial Barn
43038 Plainsview Road in Woodsfield, off State Route 800; located on the East side of the road facing South
FACTS: Painted in May 2001, this red barn dates back to 1918 and is the 59th barn in Ohio to receive the Ohio Bicentennial logo.

OHMONROE. A mailing list for anyone wishing to discuss history, research, ancestors relating to Monroe County, Ohio, choose one. You must be a subscriber to post to the list. To subscribe, include the word "subscribe" (without quotes) in the body of an e-mail message to either the mail mode or digest versions. In "mail mode", you will receive each message seperately. In "digest mode", you will receive one file with all of the messages for the day (depending on the activity).
