SOURCES OF INFORMATION

The pages you are now looking at consist of information provided by the Morrow County Genealogical Society - as opposed to researcher-provided information.

There are three exceptions:

• From 30 March 1997 through 12 June 1999, queries, surnames being researched, and names and contact information of researchers were posted on this site through a program called County Coordinator Helper. Researchers sent that information to the webmaster, who entered it into that program on the local sites. That information is still available on this site at Index of Queries, Researchers, and Surnames.
  
  
• On 13 June 1999, we started using a different system, which is now known as the Rootsweb Message Boards. The Boards are not actually a part of this website - just closely affiliated with it. Researchers now post their information themselves on those Boards. Go here to learn how (and what) to post and how to search in the OHMORROW Message Board.
  
  
• Sometimes there is information that just does not fit into the 15 classifications on the Message Board. If you believe that to be the case with information you want to post, please e-mail me to make arrangements to have it posted on the "Researcher-Provided Information" portion of this website.
