Tractors & Farm Equipment
 
 
 
For those visitors who were attracted by the farm equipment that was on
display, we had a fine representation of early models from many manufacturers.
 
 
The Buckeye Iron Will Club displayed many of their prized models.
Others from the community brought additional tractors and farm equipment
that dated from the period when the Morton schoolhouse was active and
was a large factor in their family's lives. Many of those present are
shown in the following photos:
 
 
 
 
 
Leroy Steiner's 1946 John Deere Model LA is shown on the left
and a 1952 Cockshutt Model 20 displayed by Mr. and Mrs
Harmon Sloan from Shiloh is on the right.
 
 
 
 
 
The 1967 John Deere Model 110 L-G (left) and a
1936 Model H were brought by Mr and Mrs Harmon Sloan.
 
 
 
 
 
Bill and Pat Baird of Shelby, brought their 1946
Farmall Model BN. This tractor has pulled our Morton
School float on several occasions.
 
 
 
 
 
A John Deere Model 320 was entered by Ray and
Fran Hartz from Shelby.
 
 
 
 
 
The 1953 Ford Golden Jubilee (left) and the 1939
John Deere Model B are owned by Ray and
Fran Hartz of Shelby.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Wilber Brumenshenkel brought two Allis Chalmers
tractors- 1948 Model G (left) and 1953 Model CA.

Aaron Waines of Shelby brought his 1925 Huber Treshing machine.
It is in excellent working condition. Wouldn't it be great to see it run?

The 1935 Huber Model 32 - 45 HS was displayed by
Rob Waines of Shelby. As you can see, the ground was
just a liitle damp!

Howard and Marlene Cuppy entered their 1956
John Deere Model 620. Thank yoy for being here.
 
 
 
 
 
This 1939 Farmall F-20 is the pride and joy of
Ambrose Metzger of Shelby.
 
 
 
 
 
Larry and Tom Ball of Shelby, have been restoring
lawn tractors and they chose three to display at OFD 2004
 
 
 
 

 
 
Shelby Tractor Plaque
 
Everyone who participated in the tractor and equipment portion of
OFD 2004 received this plaque featuring the Shelby Tractor.
 
Thank you once again to Fred & Mildred McCance of Lyons, Ohio
for bringing their 1920 Shelby Model D 12-25 .
It is truly a "one of a kind" .
 
 
 
 
 
 
We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of those
who took the time to bring their tractors and equipment to the
Morton School Old Fashioned Days this year. We hope that
you enjoyed being here as much as we enjoyed having you!
