Noble and Susannah CHESS sold land for $240.00 to Elisha JOHNSON. Entered for record Sept 17, 1841, Recorded Sept 27, 1841 in Muskingum Co., OHIO. The tract or parcel of land situated and being in county of Muskingum in the State of Ohio. Being a part of the North West quarter of Section Thirty five, in Township thirteen, of Range eleven. Beginning at the North West corner, thence East twenty four chains and ninety one links to corner, thence South fifteen chains, thence West five chains and fifty links, thence South fourteen chains, thence east five chains and fifty links, then South eight chains and Forty three links, to corner on quarter section line, thence West nineteen chains and seventy eight links to South West corner of said quarter section, thence North forty chains and forty three links to place of beginning, estimated to contain 80 acres.
