I have gone through Doug Kreis' book, "The Adamsville Register Obituaries 1889-1935" and completely re-wrote the index as there were many duplicate obituaries and many not included in the index. I have also added a Maiden Name index that did not exist before. While this index is not a replacement for seeing the actual obituary, it will make finding your ancestor somewhat easier. If you can find them in the index or someone who looks like them, it may be worthwhile to purchase the obituary book for yourself or ask someone for a lookup.
Note:Some obituaries are duplicated. Some duplicates may be a better image than the other. A duplicate is indicated by a second or third page for a person. There are sometimes more than one obituary listed for a person and they should not be confused with being duplicates. They are listed as a separate item. Names in parentheses are maiden names. The book "The Adamsville Register Obituaries 1889-1935" was compiled by Doug Kreis and published by the Muskingum Chapter of the Ohio Genealofgy Society.
