From "The Descendants of Thomas Bingham of Connecticut" 1.1.6.2.8 "Jesse had served in the American Revolution for eighteen days in Oct 1781. He was a brother of John Chandler who went to Ohio in the same group of Mercy's brother's Silas, Alvan, and Jabez. Mercy and Jesse also moved to OH and lived near Zanesville, Muskingum Co where he was one fo the first physicians."
