John Junkins, John McCune, & William Mulvain, appear in the 1806 Muskingum County Duplicate Tax list for "District 4" which included Range 4, Township 5. When county boundaries were redrawn in 1808, their lands went into the new county of Tuscarawas, and then in 1810 the land was transferred to another new county, Coshocton. David & James Douglass arrived about the same time and should have been listed, but the Muskingum County 1806 tax list is incomplete, e.g., many 1806 residents are not listed.
