Thomas D. Johnson
Thomas D. Johnson - was born in Montgomery county, Ohio, September 20, 1827, and came to this county in 1859. He was married in Paulding county, Ohio, December 27, 1859, to Susan E. Hardesty, who was born in Carroll county, Ohio, February 9, 1840. They have four children: Anna J., born June 6, 1864; Sidney, September 12, 1866, died February 2, 1867; Ruby B., March 5, 1868; William H., December 1, 1870. Mr. Johnson’s parents are Robert Johnson and Jane (Pugh) Johnson. His wife’s parents are Adam Hardesty, died April 23, 1859, and Anna (Kimmel) Hardesty, died March 5, 1873. They came to this county in 1853. Mr. And Mrs. Johnson are both deceased; the former died April 21, 1880, the latter September 28, 1881. The three remaining children are still living on the homestead, and their postoffice address is McGill, Paulding county, Ohio.
