White Family Join In Reunion Service

Beaver, Ohio, August 28, 1921
Descendents of William White who settled in Jackson County just over the Pike County line in 1845, held their annual reunion at the beautiful county home of Victor E. White near Beaver on the above date.
Four generations were represented and ninety of the one hundred and fifty direct descendents of William White attended. A dinner fit for kings was served on the open spacious lawn, to all present. It is needless to say it was enjoyed to the fullest extent by all present.
After dinner a program was given which was both interesting and instructive. Next in order was the election of officers for the ensuing year. William W. White, of Columbus, Ohio, who is now 82 years of age was elected president; Homer J. White of Columbus, vice-president, William J. White of Columbus, secretary and treasurer; Sarah Evageline White, of Jackson, was made secretary of correspondence; Dr. G. A. White, of Newton, Kansas, was made chairman of history. An executive committee was also named to select time and place for the next reunion.
