Henry Ellis Hoffman
     Henry Ellis Hoffman, 36, died at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, at the home of his mother, Mrs. Millie Hoffman, at Stockdale after a year and half illness.
     He was born at Greenup County, Kentucky, on October 17, 1911, the son of Delmar and Millie Reffitt Hoffman.  His father died about three years ago.
     Surviving besides the mother are two brothers, Charles of Stockdale and Clyde of Lucasville, Route #4, and six sisters, Mrs. Eula Mowery of Portsmouth, Mrs. Addie Hurst of Sciotoville, Mrs. Isabelle Aborns of Quincy, Kentucky, Mrs. Phoebe Ruggles of York, Kentucky, Mrs. Rebecca Cremeans of Lucasville Route 3 and Mrs. Elizabeth Jessee of Beaver, Route #2
     Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday, at the Davis-Hammerstein Funeral Home in Beaver with Rev. Thomas Colegrove of Lucasville Route 4 officiating.
     Burial followed in Quincy, Ky Christian Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Hammerstein.
