MYRTLE M. LANSING
Mrs. Myrtle M. Lansing , 80, of Elm Grove, died this morning (May 1978) in a Washington Court House hospital after a long illness.
     A native of Pike County, she is survived by her husband, Ollie; five sons, Ivan and Lloyd, both of Elm Grove, Emory of Peebles Route #1 and Cecil and Floyd, both of Sabina; six daughters, Mrs. Ethel Lytle and Mrs. Kathryn Mustard, both of Sabina, Mrs. Faye Liming of Yellow Springs, Mrs. Lina Ballas of Bergen, N. J., Mrs. Merlie Gragg of Reesville and Mrs. Flora Hilderbran of Peebles, Route #1, five brothers, Cleveland Mustard of Piketon, Carey and Hodie, both of Elm Grove and Roy and Zennia, both of Idaho; a sister, Mrs. Ola Lansing of Bourneville; 48 grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
     Services are to be Friday at 2 p.m. in Union Hill Church on Peebles, Route #1, with Rev. Carey Hilderbran officiating and burial in White Oak Cemetery.
     Friends may call at the Lansing residence after 2 p.m. Thursday.
     Arrangements are under the direction of Howe Co. Funeral Home.

William O. Fitch

Waverly, Ohio - Service for  William O. Fitch, 45, of Carroll Street, who was dead on arrival Monday night (Sept 1983)  at Pike County Hospital after a long illness, are planned at 2 p.m. Thursday at Botkin Funeral Home.
     A Chillicothe native, he was a member of First United Presbyterian Church.
     Surviving are his wife, Mary Lansing Fitch; a son Billy, and a daughter, Dana, both at home, his mother and step-father, Joshua and Clara Dillow Copley of Beaver; a brother, Maynard of Firebrick, Ky., and a sister, Mrs. Peggy Pennington of Beaver.
     Rev. Paul W. McClurg is to officiate at services, with interment in Arkoe Cemetery near Elmwood.
     Friends may call at the funeral home 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. today.
