1916 Teacher Ivan Dixon
In 1916 Teacher Ivan Dixon and the pupils at his first school, Harmon at Duke in southern Pike County, posed for this class picture owned by Mr. Dixon.
Mr. Dixon, 500 E. Seventh Street, Waverly retired in 1967, having spent the last 35 years of his long teaching career at the Jasper School. He is presently associated with W. M. Cool in the real estate business in Waverly.
