Maplewood School
Elizabeth Streitenberger (standing at extreme left) was the teacher at the Maplewood School located approximately a mile north of Waverly on Route 23 in 1912. The building is still there but has been converted to a residence.
Pupils at the school were: 1st row (left to right) William Ginther, Henry Gee, Cletus Kent, Oscar Raidiger, Harold McKee, Clyde Gleason, John Stokes, Andre Steinhour, James Steinhour and Paul Edleman; 2nd row - Katy Kuhn, Nellie Steinhour, Love Shite, Stella Emrich, Margaret Kuhn, Viola Oyer, Jessie Steinhour, Eve Gee, Ida Matilda Ginther, Elizabeth Stokes and Irene McKee, Courtesty of Oscar Raidiger, Waverly, Ohio.
