10. Ferdinand Gulick, born November 15, 1756 in Sussex County, New Jersey; died June 04, 1836 in Or 6-4-1832 Muhlenburg Township, Pickaway County, Ohio. He was the son of John Gulick and Magdalena Leanor Quick. He married 11. Hannah Bell Leigh 1780 in Loudon County, Virginia.

11. Hannah Bell Leigh, born July 26, 1758 in Loudon County, Virginia; died October 21, 1830 in Pickaway County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Joseph Leigh and Syche Hogeland.

Notes for Ferdinand Gulick:

Ferdinand was a resident of Hunterdon County, New Jersey when he enlisted in the Revolutionary War at the age of 19. He served six different times in that war; two months in 1775 under Captain Sherrard of the New Jersey unit, one month as a private under captain Chris Johnson, one month in 1775 as a private under Captain Gronindyke, and Colonel Chambers, one month as a private in 1778 under Captain Daniel Brink, one month in 1778 as a private under captain Henry Gulick, and Colonel Beavers, and four months in 1781 as a private under captain Henry in Virginia. Ferdinand is included in the Daughters of the American Revolution records, (Lineage Book Volume 149, Page 180). No doubt his service record in the National Archives would give greater details, but it is known he was in the battle of Millstone Creek in Monmouth New Jersey. He was a resident of Loudoun County, Virginia in 1795, the he moved to Muhlenburg Township in Pickaway County, ohio in th espring of 1827 where he applied for his Revolutionary War Pension on October 27 of 1832 in Pickaway County, Ohio.
