Looking for BORER families of Putnam County. First names of men are: Henry, Frank, Stephen, Albert, Barney and Andrew. When was the city of Leipsic formed? I have photos of all these men. They are in my family, just not sure how yet.

I've "rescued" an old photograph identified as that of Frederick Ayres
LORENZ which was taken at the Cassey & Whitney Studio in Lansing, Michigan.
The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Frederick noted
as just 3 months old and weighing 16 lbs at the time it was taken. Based on
limited research I was able to gather the following information:

Frederick Ayres LORENZ b. 26 Feb 1886 in Lansing, MI to parents Frederick A.
LORENZ (b. 2 Oct 1862 in Ontario, OH) and Florence May AYRES (b. 10 May 1864
in Kalida, OH). Frederick graduated from the University of Illinois in

I am hoping to locate someone from this LORENZ Family so that the photograph
can be returned to its rightful place, with family. If you are a member of
this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks.

I am researching John MAYBERRY 1790 and Catharine Shannon MAYBERRY 1793. I am a direct decendant of John MAYBERRY. This would be my g-g-g-g Grandfather.

Am looking for information on John Proctor, 1801 VA, and his wife, Julia Emma Martin, 1820 Putnam County, OH. They moved on to WI and were there for the 1850 census. John may have been married before. The 1850 census shows 2 children born in 1838 and 1839 in OH. John and Julia did not have any children until 1844. Thanks.

I have hit a brick wall and cannot get over it. My grandfather Milton Sheen, son of William SHEEN, claimed he was born 1839-1843 in Holmes county, Ohio. I found him with a William D. SHEHEN b. 1789 in PA. on census 1850 & 1860 in Putnam county, Ohio. Then Milton enlisted in the civil war. I need to know the relationship. Wm D. has a son named William so I believe he is not the grandfather of Milton. ( I know I have the right Milton from information in his pension papers). I believe Milton's father must have died after they left Holmes county. Holmes county has no record of his death. If someone can help me I would sure appreciate it. Thanks.
