I am researching the LYNNs and SUVERs of Ohio, my wife's forebears. I place them in Ohio because Morgan LYNN married Hannah SUVER. And, according to family records,her brother, Joseph Wellington SUVER "wrote to his family back in Ohio" from Polk County Oregon in 1861. He was born in 1814 in Hampshire County Virginia (now West Virginia), so the SUVERs probably went from there to Ohio where Hannahy SUVER may have met and married Morgan LYNN. Researchers, I am searching for Elijah BUCKLAND. As I understand,, there were a lot of BUCKLANDS in and around Hancock and Putman Counties. I Don't really have much on him, he had at least one child named Warren Buell BUCKLAND, born Sept. 7, 1785 in East Hartford, Conn. Warren married Olive Ann Vibbert. She was born on Oct. 27, 1787 in E. Windson, Conn. Ann died in Jackson, Michigan on Aug. 13, 1864. Warren died on Aug. 17, 1858 in Onodaga, Michigan. Therefore, I believe it quite logical that he, as well as many who came into Michigan in the early years, stopped off for awhile in Ohio, before migrating north. They had at least 5 children as follows: Unknown. Warren Buell Buckland Jr. b/Dec. 16, 1810 Unknown b/Sept. 9, 1814 George Nelson Buckland b/Sept. 19, 1824 Lewis V. Elisha EDWARDS was born in 1816/1817 either in Massachusetts or Mississippi. Ellen's parents were born in Ireland and came to Ohio in the 1830's. Elisha and Ellen's daughter, Mary Ellen Edwards, married Marville Stow(e) in Henry County, Missouri. I will share my Elisha EDWARDS/STOW(E) info with anyone interested in these lines. Thanks. Looking for information on Leonard WOJT or his wife, Name Unknown. Leonard was born on April,1922....Died May,1974 while on fishing trip to Canada. Had 5 children, William, John, Gail, James, and Patrick. Patrick was born 12/13/53. name might have been shortened from WOJTASKEVICH(not sure of spelling) known to reside in the Chicago area. Looking for James Holley/Holly family in Ohio. James Holley b. 1799 NY, wife Matilda b. 1801 Canada. They lived in Ohio and I believe had the following children: John Holley b. 1825 Ohio, Elizabeth Ann Holley b. 1828 Ohio, William R. Holley b. 1835 (married Catherine Jackson in Ohio), Mary Susan Holley b. 1841 Ohio. They all moved to Warrick County, Indiana by 1854.
