GOODRICH, GUTHERAGE, GUTTERIDGE, PHILLIPS posted by Lisa Mann on Wednesday, June 30, 1999

GUTTERIDGE/ GUTHERAGE/ GOODRICH/ PHILLIPS I'm trying to trace Thomas G. (or H.) Gutteridge (sometimes spelled Gutherage or even Goodrich) who was said to have been born in Ohio Abt 1838. He married iN MO in 1859 and from there went to CA. In the 1860 Sonoma Co, CA census he was living with his wife, Mattie Cook, and a man by the name of J.M. Phillips (b. abt 1826), who also listed his birthplace as Ohio. I don't know who J.M. Philips was, but have hopes that J.M. and Thomas came from the same part or Ohio. Can anyone help?
