Hello. I am looking for any information avaliable on my great grand parents. This is what I have been told by my grandmother. Margaret Mary HEIDELMAN was born June 16, 1869 in Cleveland OH. She married Isaiah Frank DEKNIGHT. (?) (The Cuyahoga County OH researchers say they can't find any thing to support this, so it could be she was not born in Cleveland, OH) He was born in 1896 on a ship coming from France to the USA. He also fought in the Spanish American War. Their last child (my grandmother) was born in Cincinnati, OH in May 1912. He died in 1913 or 1914. She died in 1948. I assume they both died in Cincinnati, OH. Any assitance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am looking for the county or city that Jacob Perry Duncan was born in so that I may research his ancestry. He was born sometime between 1820-40's. He and possibly his parents moved to IOWA sometime around 1850's thereabouts since Jacob Perry Duncan signed up in the Civil War in the 1860's in Muscatine COunty under the name of "Perry Duncan". He also shows in the marriage register in year of 1865 under the name of "Jacob P. Duncan". I need to find out where he was born in Ohio (according to is military records, show state of OHIO as birth place) so that I can find his parents. Thank you!

I am looking for Doctor Robert Chapman, his son William CHapman was marked as being born in OHIO. I am trying to locate place of birth in Ohio for William James Wilcox Chapman so that I can research his father more. I understand that Dr. Robert Chapman married a woman named Margaret and she had died at age of 32 from Cholera while working in Colonel Cody's camp. I wish to find out more about this Chapman family. William would of been born sometime during or after the Civil War period, he moved to Indiana and married in Monticello and later after children were born to him around 1900's he and his family moved onto Muncie, Indiana. Have tried unsuccesfully to contace her through U.S. Search as all they could come up with was Peabodys and I'm sure her name has changd by now, her married name to my father was Barkman. Trying to find information on my Greatgrandmother's past. Her name was Amanda Theodosia Davey. She was born July 16, 1871 in ?,Ohio. According to her death certificate, her father's name was Allen Davey and her mother was ? McBride. I did find a Allen Davey and Ann McBride on the marriage CD's from the LDS Family History Center married February 1871 in Putnam, Ohio. I don't know if this is Amanda's parents or not. I don't know if I am at the right place or not. Father has no known birthcert so he says. All he knows is that his mother Eva Justice from Illinois went to Ohio and came back to Illinois with a little boy-him. This would be around 1915-1930. His mother had a questionable occupation. I would like to submit a query for information regarding Samuel Butler & Nancy Baker Butler. They were both born in Ohio and moved to Illinois in 1839 or 1840. By 1840, they were noted in the Clay County, Illinois census. They are listed in the 1850 Richland County, Illinois Census as Samuel being 36 years old and Nancy being 35 years old. That should mean they were probably born in 1813 and or 1814. They had at least 10 children, 3 of whom were born in Ohio according to that same 1850 census. The oldest was Luvinnia who was aged 14 at the census, Jon, aged 12, and Amen, aged 11. Their youngest child was Samuel, Jr., born in 1858 who is my great-grandfather. Samuel Sr.'s occupation is listed as farmer. I realize that without a county this is going to be a tough search, and any information or leads to information will be appreciated.

Seeking information about William Henry Nordman who was born 1815 in Germany. He married a woman who was born in New York; family lived near Cincinnati or the SW Ohio area during the 1860-70's. Known children's name Emma Agnes, S. George or George S., John, Lewis/Louis, and Laura/Lora. Do not know exactly when the family began moving SW, eventually living in Chickasaw Nation by the mid 1880's. Emma married A. West; George married Rebecca Wadkins 1885/86 in present day Carter Co., OK.; Lewis married Mary Texanna Redwine (age 14) in Cooke Co., Texas 1886. George and his wife (who could have been ?? Campbell) were on the 1890 Chickasaw Census as intruders; his wife died before the 1900 census; William Henry died before the 1910 census. There is no marked grave or death date for W.H. or his wife in Carter Co. Really need to know if the family was on the 1860 or 1870 census--where they were living; the wife's first name, etc. We have NO information about William Henry's family or even his wife's name. James C. (aka "Jack" C.) Wren was born in Ohio of French descent ca. 1887-89 in Ohio to ? and Lucille M. Wren. Known siblings were William D. Wren, born 1893 in Ohio, and Wanntah (Wausetah?), born 1895 in Ohio. James is believed to have served in the Navy in WWI. In July of 1919, he married Caroline (aka Catherine) Helena LaMoore in Chicago, Il. In Jan. of 1920, all the above individuals lived in Las Angeles, CA. On Dec. 31, 1920, James and Caroline had a daughter, Theresa Joan. James and Caroline divorced about 1922. No info is known about him since the divorce. I'm seeking any information about James, his ancestors, siblings, and/or other descendents.

FOUND TREASURES!!! While at a "ROBERT" family reunion this summer, a box of photos was being passed around. The owner no longer wanted them, and anyone wanting them could have what they wanted. After Uncle John identified what he could of them, the family took out what they wanted, and I took the remaining photos.
