My ggggrandfather was Levi Mann, wife Hannah. He died (according to Bible records) Mar 1, 1835. His wife Hannah subsequently lived with her son Samuel H. Mann and his wife Elizabeth (whose first husband was Potterf). They lived in Camden, Preble Co, where Samuel, Elizabeth and Hannah are all buried. Can anyone find any information on Levi for me? I am searching for information on a gg-grandfather of mine by the name of Jacob Trafter. I know little about him beyond that he lived in Ohio. His daughter Catherine E. Trafter was born in 1850. She married my great-grandfather, Bernard M. Casey, on Aug 15, 1864 in Keokuk, Iowa. They had five children (William, Rose Anna, Alice, Charles, and Daisy). When Bernard died in 1879, Catherine remarried twice, first to a William Kidwell, and then to a Charles Morey. My great-grandfather was Charles William Cooper, born in Ohio on May 16, 1866. He married Carrie Henry in Georgia on Feb. 18, 1890. They had numerous children in several southern states. Looking for information on the parents and/or siblings of James R. MONROE. I found some old family papers that stated he was born February 16, 1834. I found 1870 Illinois census records for him, and they showed that he was born in Ohio. He married Keturah (Last Name Unknown)and I know of one son, William Lewis Monroe. I am searching for any information on the Anton Kayser family of Kenton, Hardin Co., Ohio. This was my gr.Grandfather. He and my gr. grandmother Elisabetha Scheer were married in 1862 and had 4 children: Catherine b.1862 d.1864,Anna b.1865, Anton jr.b.1866(my grandfather)and William b.1869. My gr.grandmother died in 1874. My gr.grandfather Anton then married Elisabeth Hickory in 1876 and they had 6 children:Henry b.1879,George b.1881 d.1904,Mary b.1885 d.1968 was married to a Martin, Flora b.1886 d.1952 was married to a Little, Helena b.1890 d.1963 was married to a Steiner and Katherine b. 1893 d.1973 and was married twice, once to a Wilson and then to a Harruff. Most all buried in Grove Cemetery that we have found with the exception of Mary and she is buried (I think) in Mt.Victory, Ohio. Anton Kayser jr. is buried in Cincinnati, Ohio. My gr.Grandfather Anton Kayser,sr b.1826 in Germany and d.1907 in Kenton, Ohio along with 1st wife, Elisabetha Scheer b.1838 d.1874 ! and 2nd wife Elisabeth Hickory b.1861 d. 1929 are buried in Grove Cemetery, Kenton, Ohio. My gr.grandfather and his family lived in Kenton, Ohio for approx. 52 years on Leighton Street. I would be appreciative of any information on them. Thanks in advance. They had 2 children Vaughn in 1906 and Christovelle in 1907(my mother). At the time of my mothers birth ,according to her birthcertificate,they lived in Beuna Vista,Ohio. My name is Carol Wilson Wright. I am looking for information on my great grandparents, John Burnett MULLIS and Mary Ida CORBETT (CORBITT). I have very little information on Mary Ida, daughter of Daniel Corbett (Corbitt) and ??. John Burnett Mullis was the son of Blackstone Mullis. They arrived on the Arabian in New York harbour on Nov. 8, 1848 from Antrim, Ireland. The next time I find them is in Millbrook, Kendall, Illinois in 1864. Mom died, Thomas tried the army and was rejected, and disappeared. I feel he did not approve of dad taking up with a girl 30 years younger and returned to where Alexander was. This could very well be as a Thomas CALVERT marrys a Mary, and Alexander Calvert was a 2nd luey in the Civil War out of Beaver County. Ages and honesty varies, but on 11-8-48 this was the supposed ages: David 37, Susan 36, Alexander 13, Thomas 2, and David John was a newborn. Hope you can help. My
