HOFFMAN, SEBAR, SEIBERT, SIEBERT, STIGER posted by Andra Hughes on Thursday, October 12, 2000

I am looking for info on a Peter Seibert/Siebert/Sebar, born in Feb 1854 somewhere in OH. I tend to think Hamilton County but I only feel this way because I always heard he "walked across the bridge" to KY, which is where he lived in Campbell County, KY. He was married to a Mary Lottus (sp). She was born in KY in 1855. Peter I believe had brothers John, born in Baden ab. 1843, Louis born in KY ab 1856 and a sister Joephine born in KY about 1859. Peter and Mary lived in Campbell County, KY, and had several children, one of which was Chris, my grandfather, born 1884. Chris married a Kate Hoffman. Also of interest in an 1870 census for KY I find this family listed with a Margaret Stiger, born 1817 in Baden, and she is listed under relationship as mother. Margaret still appears with this family in a 1900 census from KY. Don't know whose mother unless Peter's parents weren't married? Any help would be appreciated.
