He married a woman named Minnie. Minnie later remarried a man named Marcus Thomas and the had 4 children together.

Elmer's father was Herman Henry MOHRMAN 1860-1927. He married Caroline TOPP 1867-1951. Herman's father was Herman Henry 1836-?? and he married Anna Marie (Sofie). Herman's father was Barnhart Heinrich MOHRMAN, and he married Elizabeth Anna SCHRADER. Bernhart and Elizabeth help settle the Auglaize county area. Barnhart's father was Heinrich MOHRMAN, and he married Margaretha MEYER

He eventually moved to Mississippi, where he married Nancy Parker in 1836. He was a Baptist minister and had the following children: Zeno Sylas, Joel Judson, Alanson Hines, Ida Millicent, Amorit, William, Mary, and Cynthia. That is the only info I have on her, except that she married James Henry Cheney 21 Nov. 1854 at Coles Co., Ill. They lived in Newman, Douglas Co.,Ill. When James died. She then moved to Douglas Co., Mo. She died 16 Jan. 1916 at East Alton, Madison Co., Ill. at the home of her daughter(the youngest of 10 children). I haven't been able to find out who her parents were. If there is someone who has the name Charlotte in their Parker family please contact me. Would love to find these ancestors.

This info was found in her daughter's biography in a County History of Adair County Iowa. Sarah had connections in Medina, Summit, Portage, and Wayne Counties of Ohio earlier in her life. She would have been about age 60 in 1851.
