Borther(s) lived in west Cleveland, OH area. Bothers were each married (twice ?) and were "much older" than Gertrude. Mother may have been named Mary, dec est 1935 - 1940 and grandmother first name Victoria. Gertrude attended secretarial school after graduating from high school. Married John (Johann) Knoch 1934-35, born est 1900, dec early 1980s, immigrated est 1920 from Germany to Cleveland area. Gertrude and John lived on east side of Cleveland all married life. Need help in locating ancestors of Samuel and Mary Davis Case. Her father was Giles Davis. Samuel died prior to 1817. Mary remarried to a Henry McMillen..Samuel and Mary had the following children: Samuel, Hannah, Aaron, Peter, Nathaniel, Nancy, Elizabeth, and Rachel. What happened to Mary? The daughter Peggy was married to Gene, whose last name I do not know. Peggy and Gene had a daughter Jo-Ann, born about 1940 and a son David, born about 1942. I think Joseph Sparks died in the early 1960AEs. His widow Ethel, was living at 307 Brighton Blvd. Zanesville in 1966. These Sparks have relatives named "Weir" in Manchester, CT., and in Ireland and Scotland. I would be very grateful for any help in finding this family. I can be contacted at above address.

Looking for information about the parents of John F. Berryhill, born June 20, 1827 and Mary E. Harvey (may be Hary) born September 5, 1833. They are my great grandparents. I have traced their birth to Ohio. I also have a marriage record showing a John Berryhill / Mary E. Hary marriage on January 5, 1854 in Allen County. Also have been told there was an Anderw Jackson Berryhill/Jane Ford from Greene County who may be the parents of John. Or, later Andrew married a Jane Marks and they had a son Thomas Marks Berryhill, Maybe some connection there. This is the Indian branch of the Berryhill name I'm told.

I haven't found any evidence that she was born in either county. She married Joseph Bennett in July 1841 in Allen County, Ohio. Joseph was also born in 1841 Ohio. Joseph's was born somewhere in Northwest Ohio. I suspect that Joseph's parents were William Bennett and Merilla Scott, but I have yet to find any information on either of these names. Looking for any information as to the parents of Joseph Bennett and Louisa/Lavisa Decker. I believe that Joseph was buried in Defiance County, Ohio in 1906.
