I am looking for the family of my great-grandmother, Cora Lee MC ALEXANDER.Here is what I
know: --Cora was the daughter of Elizabeth YUTESLER and Albert MC ALEXANDER. She was born
in Harrison County, IA Jan or Feb of 1888.She had two older brothers, Andrew
"Huck" MC ALEXANDER & Alva Edison MC ALEXANDER, and one sister, Winnie Bell
MC ALEXANDER VITTITOE.She married Jesse Thomas MORROW Feb 6,1907. --Cora's mother,
Elizabeth, was born in Feb 1859 somewhere in Ohio to Jasper YUTESLER and his wife Mary
Jane. The YUTESLERS moved to Iowa shortly after Elizabeth was born because their next
child, Isaac Jason was born in 1862 in Iowa.Other children of Jasper and Mary Jane
YUTESLER are:Benjamin(July 1863),Samuel(1870),Anna (1875),James(Dec 1876),Emma
R.(1879),George(Nov 1881),and Jackson(May 1884).This family is found in Harrison County,IA
from at least 1870 on. --Cora's father Albert MC ALEXANDER was born Aug 1851 somewhere in
Ohio.In the Harrison County, IA census for 1870 he is listed as a day laborer in the
household of Jasper YUTESLER although his name is listed as Albert ALEXANDER.There is also
a Victoria ALEXANDER,age 16, employed as a houseworker who is probably a sister. --I also
have a photo of "Dollie-Granpa Mc Alexander's half sister" which has no date but
is about the right age to be a sister to Albert.
I have no idea where to begin looking for these families in Ohio so if you have any leads,
I would be tremendously grateful!I have found MORROWS and VITTITOES who are related in
Jackson, Vinton,Pike,Athens, and Scioto counties and from what I have seen, it wasn't
uncommon for several families to relocate and settle together. My goal is to find out about
the siblings, parents, and families in general for Jasper YUTESLER and Albert MC
ALEXANDER.

We are trying to trace relatives that emigrated to the USA in 1884. William Mould (my
great, great grandfather) and his wife & family of 7 children emigrated in 1884 -
unfortunately William died between 1884 and 1888 but his wife and the 3 younger children
returned to the UK because of her sick mother. She left the four older children in the
States and its the decendants of these children we are trying to trace. We believe that
they emigrated to Pottersville and William helped set up a pottery company - William was
previously a pottery representative with a company from Stoke-on-Trent , England. The
children left in the states were Elizabeth, William, Harry and Emma. the son William Mould
married Hettie Hartley who was described in a newspaper story as the prettiest girl from
Springville Ohio (she was a soap heiress). We would greatly appreciate any help you could
give us in tracing these relatives.

I am trying to locate any information that might be available regarding the following
individuals who moved to Oregon from Ohio sometime before 1899, or any decendants or
relatives. They are thought to have corresponded with relatives by the names of Rose Ernst
and Rosina Ernst that are thought to have lived in either Cincinatti or in Cleveland Ohio.
Frank (may have also been known as Joseph) Ernst born about 1857 and his wife Frances Wolf
(one record lists her maiden name as Wall) and their son Albert T. Ernst born Jan, 14,
1897. They had another son named Frank Jacob Ernst that was born in Oregon on February 5,
1899. The Rose Ernst living in Ohio was the sister of Frank Ernst Sr. and was blind. She
remained single. The exact relationship with Rosina Ernst is unknown, but she is believed
to have married at some point in time and therefore would have probably changed surnames.
There may be a hereditary genetic disease in the family commonly known as Charcot Marie
Tooth Disease (CMT). It is believed that Frank Sr. and his son Frank may have been mildly
effected by the disease.
