LIBRARY: The RCGS Library and office is located at 444 Douglas Avenue, Chillicothe. The hours are:
 
   Monday -10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
   Tuesday - Closed
   Wednesday - 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
   Thursday - 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
        (During December, January & February we are closed Thursday evening
          but open on Thursday afternoon from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
   Friday - 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
   Saturday - 9 a.m. - 12 Noon
   Sunday - Closed 
 
Non-members are asked for a $2.00 donation each time they research.
 
The library collection includes guide books, county histories, vital records, tombstone inscriptions, church records, bible records, ship passenger lists, family genealogies, numerous quarterlies, census records, IGI microfiche, card files and CD's.  Microfilm and microfiche readers are available as well as PCs to view the CD's.
 
For those unable to visit the library, an index check for a SINGLE FAMILY (standard references in the RCGS library only).  We require an advance donation of $15.00 per family, limited to 2 hours.  If a third hour or more is required to complete the search, an additional $5.00 per hour will be requested. If many entries are found, we will advise you of the additional amount necessary to cover excessive copies.  A family group sheet for the one family (listing father, mother, and children's names with birth/death/marriage dates and locations where known) MUST accompany the request.  Mail your request and payment to the Society at:
