Eligibility for Membership

 Who is eligible?

Any woman 18 years of age or older, who can prove lineal, blood line descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence, is eligible.  She must provide documentation for each statement of birth, marriage, and death.  Admission to membership in the NSDAR by invitation through a chapter.

What is the membership process?

1.     Finding your lineage using birth, marriage, and death certificates

2.     Identifying your patriot ancestor

3.     Finding a chapter

4.     Apply for membership through a chapter
