Walter Frank, a well known young man of this city, appeared this morning in Squire McDermott's court to answer to a charge preferred against him by Miss Edith Loro. The young woman filed the charge against him in McDermot's court July 29, stating that he is the father of hr child which was born June 31st. last. The warrant for Frank's arrest was placed in the hands of Constable Winters, but the young man was not apprehended, until he came to court of his own accord. He was placed under a bond of $100 and the hearing of the case was set for next Friday morning at 9 o'clock. It is possible that the matter may be adjusted.
