DIED -- March 17th., 1874, aged 85 years, 2 months and 17 days.  He requested his service to be done without any preaching, as he was formerly a member of the Friends Society.  He was born in N.H. Dec. the 23d., 1789, and emigrated with his family to Granville, Ohio about the year 1819, and lived there until the year 1822, and from there he removed to Perry Township, Richland County, Ohio, where he remained until his death.  He was strong in Christian faith and held forth his views to his last moments.
