John Martin CLARK was born in Richland Co., O., December 6th 1862.  Died at his home near Amoz.  Aged 32 years, 9 months and 26 days.  In infancy he was baptized by Rev. H. H. HESS, was married by Rev. SHULENBERGER, April 19th 1893 to Miss Ida Bell BAILEY.  His death, a terrible shock to all, was caused by a falling tree, as another tree was cut down.  He died about four hours after the accident.  He was much esteemed for his intellengence and manly qualitites and was a school teacher and farmer.
