DIED -- At his residence in Independence, Ohio, on Tuesday, Aug. 4th., 1874, JAMES M. MORRISON, aged 79 years.

Mr. Morrison was a soldier in the war of 1812, and has been a resident of this county for many years.  He was a member of the Baptist Church, and respected by all who knew him. -- W.M.
