Mrs. Beatrice Morton, 71, of 288 Greenlawn Ave., widow of Charles Morton Sr., died Tuesday afternoon at Mansfield Memorial Homes after an extended illness.

    Born in Georgia on Nov. 6, 1905, she came to Mansfield in 1939.  She and her husband were former owners and operators of Dunbar Steak Ranch.

    She was a member of Mitchell Chapel AME and secretary of Stewardess Board No. 1.

    Mrs. Morton is survived by one son, Charles Jr. of Anchorage, Alaska; four grandchildren; two brothers, Garfield Brown of Sharpsburg, Pa., and Sweeney Brown of East Liberty, Pa.

    Friends may call at the Geiger-Herlihy Funeral Home today.

    Services will be held at Mitchell Chapel of AME Friday at 11 a. m. by the Reverend William E. Johnson.  Burial will be in Mount Peace Cemetery,
Akron, Ohio
