Shelby - Helen E. CLARK PORTER, 76, formerly of Shelby, died Wednesday at the home of her daughter in Denver after a long illness.  Mrs. PORTER was born March 14, 1918 in Shelby to Samuel and Verne ADAMS CASHMAN and had been a Shelby resident most of her life.  She was a lifetime member of the First Lutheran Church of Shelby, a member of the Hazel Grove Ladies’ Aid Society and was very active with the Airstream International Trailer Group, Marion Unit Chaapter WBCCI.  She is survived by her husband Donald PORTER of Ashland; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Liz CLARK of Columbus, Ind; a daugher and son-in-law, Jan and Gary GEYER of Denver; three grandsons, a granddaughter; two brothers, Harold CASHMAN of Plymouth, Earl CASHMAN of Sarasota, Fla; a sister Mary Jane BURRER of Ganges.  She was preceded in death by her first husband Ward M. CLARK in 1991 and a brother, S. C. CASHMAN.  Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
