LUCAS -- Charles Swaney, who had been a constant sufferer for about six months, died Sunday morning about 2 o'clock, aged 25 years, 5 months and 9 days.  He was an intelligent, sociable and industrious young man, and will be greatly missed in this community.  Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Lutheran Church of which he was a member, interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
