Mrs. Philamena ( David ) Wood, Short, 44, of 20 South Linden Rd., died Sunday morning after a long illness.

 

Born in North Dakota, Mrs Short came to Mansfield as a child. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Rosary Alter Society Council of Catholic Women.

 

Surviving are two sons, Flynn and Wayne wood, of Mansfield; four grandchildren; a brother , Fred David of Mansfield, and three sisters, Mary Owens, Mrs Catherine Barnett, both of Mansfield, and Mrs. Frances Hoffman of Grand Rapids, MI.

 

Friends may call at the Geiger-Herlihy Funeral Home after 7 p. m. today, with funeral high Mass to be conducted Wednesday at 9;30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church by the Rev. Thomas Marlborough. Burial will be in Mansfield Catholic Cemetary.

 

The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home Tuesday at 8:00 p. m.
