David B. Jones, the contractor, died at his home on Hughes Street, at 4 o'clock this morning of heart disease.  Although his health has been impaired for some time he was able to be about yesterday and his death was sudden and quite unexpected.  Mr. Jones was one of the candidates at the Democratic primaries last spring for nomination as a candidate for councilman in the Ninth ward.  He was a member of the Lucas Lodge, Knights of the Golden Eagle.  The funeral services will be at the residence Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 10 o'clock a.m.
