Eva SMITH Dies, Operation Fatal to Mansfield Woman; Funeral Tuesday. Miss Eva SMITH of 103 ½ West Fourth street, died Sunday afternoon at General hospital following an operation for appendicitis. She was born in Mansfield and spent her entire life here.

Miss SMITH had been employed in the advertising department of the Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing company. She was formerly employed at the Ohio Brass company for 16 years in the purchasing department.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. LeRoy WEBBER of Mansfield and Mrs. Joseph CRIDER of Harpster; a brother, Lester SMITH of Los Angeles, Cal., and five nieces and three great nieces and a great nephew.

Funeral services will be held at the Finefrock funeral home at 2 p. m. Tuesday with Rev. Grover E. SWOYER of the First Lutheran church officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield cemetery.
