Jason Y. Garrison, aged 72 years, died very suddenly at the home of Calvin Stewart, three and a half miles northeast of this city, at 9:30 o'clock last night.  Mr. Garrison and wife arrived at the home of Mr. Stewart a few days ago for a short visit.  About 9 o'clock last night he complained of feeling very sick and told his wife he could hardly get his breath.  Half an hour later he died.

The deceased was a resident of this city for a number of years, was employed in the Mansfield Machine Works and lived on West Fourth Street.  One year ago he disposed of his property and moved to Mt. Vernon.
