COPUS SAND HILL -- Samuel Mowry of Monroe Township had a stroke of paralysis, this being the second stroke in one week.  He lingered until about 11 o'clock Sunday morning and died, aged about 70 years.  He was buried Tuesday at 10 o'clock at St. John's Church near his place of residence.

Samuel Mowry, aged 65 years, died very suddenly at his home near Lucas yesterday.  His sons, William and Henry Mowry, reside in this city.  Interment will take place at St. John's Lutheran Church near Newville at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
