Social and vital statistics for the year ending 31 March 1896: Thirty-nine letters of guardianship were issued, including 56 children, 1 drunkard, 9 insane persons and 2 imbeciles. Seventy-five wills were probated, 62 testamentary letters, 75 letters of administration issued and 137 estates administered. Twenty-three final naturalization papers were issued to one native of Austria, one of England, 16 of Germany, one of Ireland and two of Italy. One person was sent to reform farm at Lancaster, 15, seven males and 8 females were sent to the insane hospital at Toledo, and three females were sent to the hospital for epileptics at Gallipolis.
