 Brenizer's Addition of Smithville

Commencing at the south east corner of lot No 21 in the original plot and the same poast[sic] being the south west corner of lot No 1 in this plot surveyed May the 21st 1839-- Thomas Washburn surveyor

I the undersigned do hereby certify that the above Platt and representation is an addition to Smithville and on my land being in the North side of the south west quarter of section seventeen in township seventeen and range twelve and that I employed Thomas Washburn to survey the same and I am satisfied that the survey is made and is certified on the field agreeably to my orders and that it is exactly[?] described in the above map. Given under my hand this 27th day of May 1839.                David Brenizer Jr.

I do certify the above to be a true and correct copy of a survey of an addition to the town of Smithville situated as above described surveyed May the 21st 1839.     Surveyor's office Wayne County Ohio

State of Ohio Wayne county ....  Before me Thomas Washburn a Justice of the Peace in and for said County personally came David Brenizer Junior and acknowledged the laying out of all the foregoing described north east addition of the town of Smithville in said county and in the Public Road leading from Wooster to Akron according to the within Plot to be his act and deed. Given under my hand and seal this 6th day of June A.D. 1839
