FIRST FAMILY OF OHIO Can You Qualify?
Are you a direct descendant of an individual who settled in the area that is now defined as the State of Ohio, prior to 1821? Can you prove your lineage to that individual? Are you a member of The Ohio Genealogical Society ? If you answered "yes" to all three of the above questions, you only have to finish one more item and you've qualified! If you will fill out an application form and supply the needed documentation and pay a $30.00 application fee, you can become a member of the First Families of Ohio and be inducted at the next Annual OGS Conference. Forms are available on the OGS website: http://www.ogs.org/ When you get to the OGS website, click on "Lineage Societies" and scroll down to "First Families of Ohio", where you can obtain a copy of the rules and the proper application form.
