The Oakland Cemetery Association was first organized in 1868. The officers
elected to head the organization were a Board of Trustees composed of the following:
H.M. Dick, F. B. Ott, Samuel Frey, Jacob Bargahiser, J. L. Pittenger, and Harrison Brubaker.*
