The specific location
of the cemetery is:
SMITH-PIXLEY CEMETERY is at the end of a lane just east of Lambry
Subdivision, Green Township, Scioto County, Ohio. The stones are
near the Ohio River's banks, and the cemetery's location is shown
on topographic maps. The earliest burial is dated 1821. The stones
are all in a row, about 3-4 feet apart, in very good shape, all
standing. All stones are of the same design, and some have similar
footstones. The area is grown up with weeds: stones lying on the
ground, may have been covered over and missed. Inscriptions were
copied May 25, 1980 by Caryn R. Shoemaker, CGRS.
