Summit County, Ohio Lookups
If you own any Summit County books, and will do look-ups, please let me
know. As you can see,
volunteers are needed.
Feel free to request a look-up from the following books. Please put
SUMMIT COUNTY LOOKUP
in the subject line of your request to insure the message is
not overlooked or accidentally deleted. In the first line of the message
please put the name of the book from which you are requesting the lookup.
Also Please limit the number of names in your requests. We are all Volunteers
and our time is donated so don't request whole Families. and make sure you are
positive that they lived in Summit County. And give as much information as you
already know. This will Help the Volunteer to do the look up more quickly. All
volunteers are allowed to refuse to do a look up if it is too vague and general.
Don't ask them to do all of your research.

I will take photos of Headstones in cemeteries for
a small charge for film and delvoping.
Or just walk the Cemetery and find the stone (I will be unable to do this
during the winter, I will start again in the spring).
I will also go to the library and do searches there for the newspapers
and books that are available there.

I have the commencement program put out by the Vincentian for June, 1927,
showing pictures of the graduates with short paragraphs about each. There are
some alumni notes from 1923-1926. The issue is 15 pages. I will gladly look
for specific names and e mail the information given.
I also have the 1924 yearbook. It lists all members of grades 1 though 12, plus
high school faculty, members of choirs, acolytes, etc. Will be glad to scan
and send information for specific requests.

I have my Mother's yearbooks from Ellet High School for the years 1956-1959 and the year 1961.
I would be willing to do any look-ups if someone thinks their family member is in one of these annuals
and send you copies of whatever I have. I am unable to send copies of entire books because of their
size, but would be willing to send copies of certain pages. My mother, Marjorie Ann (Bartram) LeMaster
and my father Robert Lee LeMaster grew up in Ellet. I am also researching the Bartram and LeMaster
name if there is anyone that would have information pertaining to these names.
Thank you and you can contact me anytime.
