Broderick Cemetery

      

    This cemetery is named for Hannah Brodrick, wife of Isaac Brodrick.  However, she was the only Brodrick to have been interred here.  The Brodrick's spelled their name with out the 'e,' but the cemetery's name is Broderick and includes an 'e.'  The cemetery dates to 1841.  It is located on State Route 245 near its intersection with Wilbur Road.  The first schoolhouse in Allen Township was built across present day SR 245 from this cemetery between 1832 and 1833.  This is no longer an active cemetery, however it is still maintained by Allen Township.

Buck Run Cemetery

      

    Buck Run Cemetery dates to approximately 1832.  One of the first people to have been buried here was Daniel Allen, for whom Allen Township was named.  The
Buck Run Methodist Episcopal Church was once located near this cemetery.  Between 1838 and 1839 a frame schoolhouse was built adjacent to this cemetery and the Buck Run Church.  This cemetery is located on State Route 245 near Buck Run Road.  This cemetery is not an active cemetery, but it is still maintained by the township.
