York Township

Davis Farm Cemetery
This cemetery is located a little over 1/2 mile south of Miller Road
and a little over 1/2 mile west of State Route 31. It is marked
on the present (2006) Union County Map published by the Union County
Engineer.

East York Cemetery
The East York Cemetery is located to the
east
of State Route 31 on Miller Road. The oldest stone dates to
1821. It is not an active cemetery. This cemetery was once
associatioed with the First Presbyterian Church of York Township.

Fulton Farm Cemetery
This cemetery is no longer an active cemetery. It is located near
the north east corner of the Harmon Patrick Road and State Route 31
intersection. This cemetery is also marked on the present (2006) Union County Map
published by the Union County Engineer.

Johnson Farm Cemetery
The Johnson Farm Cmetery dates to 1847. It is just north of the
Fulton Farm Cemetery.
Somersville Cemetery
The Somersville Cemetery is on the south
side
of Somersville on the west side of State Route 31. It dates to
1836.

Southardtown Cemetery

This cemetery dates to 1853. It has not been used since 1951, but
it is well maintained. It is located just
off of State Route 47 where it connects with Davis Road.
According to the cemetery sign, this cemetery was once associated with
the Nations Chapel Methodist Church that was in existence from 1853 to
1868. This church eventually split to form the Bethel Methodist
and the West Mansfield Methodist Churches.

York
Center Cemetery
The York Center Cemetery is located on State Route 739 north of York
Center on land surrounding the York McKendree
United
Methodist Church. It is a public and still active cemetery.
