Union County Pioneers

The objective of the Union County Pioneers (UCP) is to identify the earliest pioneers to the county and to honor their memory by showing their lasting mark on the county they helped to develop by recognizing their descendants. UCP and the Union County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society encourages careful and complete research in family history. By requesting an application, we are asking that you record your family history to prove that you are indeed a bloodline descendant of an early settler to Union County.

There are two levels to the Union County Pioneers. The GOLD level will be for ancestors proven to have resided in the present day boundaries of Union County by December 31, 1840. The SILVER level will be for ancestors proven to have resided in the present day boundaries of Union County between January 1, 1841 and December 31, 1850. You must be a member of the Union County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society to submit your application.
