16 September 2007		 Dr. John Van Harlingen is my 2nd great grandfather. The line of descent is: Dr. John M. VanHarlingen, Ferdinand S., John M., and my grandfather James Keever VanHarlingen. The VanHarlingen line is a well established line that is fairly well documented back to 1500. Our immigrant ancestor ( Johannnis Martinus VanHarlingen) immigrated to the States in the early 1700s. Others researching the Van Harlingen line should feel free to contact me at metcalf-james@sbcglobal.net.
