This is an active cemetery owned and operated by the Salem Township trustees.
According to Warren County Cemetery Records Volume 1, published by the Warren County Genealogical Society, the Morrow Cemetery started as a small cemetery on the Miranda Farm. In November, 1865, The Miranda Burying Grounds were purchased by the I.O.O.F. Morrow lodge and the cemetery became known as the Morrow I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The Salem Township trustees acquired the cemetery in 1897 and it is now known as the Morrow Cemetery.
The cemetery is located in the Virginia Military District, Survey #1500 which was patented to Alexander McIntyre in 1803.
It can be found at the end of 2nd Street in Morrow, Ohio, off of US Route 22 & 3, one block east of where State Route 123 turns and crosses the Little Miami River.
